Key Features of Sinoway Swamp Excavator and Hydraulic Undercarriage

>> Reliable Pontoons

Sinoway swamp buggy excavators are designed with hydraulic pontoons from 6.7meters up to 10.2meters, of which are constructed with high grader steel beam and plate, with excellent welding workman ship. Mostly, our hydraulic pontoon undercarriage for swamp buggies are constructed with three independent compartments, hermetically sealed with optional manholes for easy access from outside for inspection and preventive maintenance. The bottom of the pontoons are specially treated and reinforced for rough terrain operation.

The pontoons are shot blasted to ensure that the surface is thoroughly clean and free from contaminants and rust. In addition, this process presents the steel with a surface texture that provides excellent adhesion of prime coat of paint. For those swamp buggies for salty areas applications, Sinoway is able to provide marine coating (optional service) to keep the pontoons from corrosion. The length of the pontoons could be 6650mm to 10200mm to ensure the stability of the whole swamp buggy/amphibious excavator.

For those extremely salty area applications, we may offer weathering steel sheet for the undercarriage pontoons, which lasts much longer in heavy salty or caustic atmosphere.

>> Steel Track Cleats

Sinoway swamp buggy comes with steel track cleats with specially design to against wearing and distortion. The material of the track plates is wear-proof steel plate, with extra toughness, special stud plate structure inside the track cleat to make it strong enough to supporting the pontoons and upper excavator. With better tensile yield strength for steel, the track cleat has a minimum yield strength and tensile strength of 280 Mpa (40,600 PSI) and 480 Mpa (69,600 PSI) respectively, which means approximately 16% and 65% improvement of yield strength and tensile strength respectively over 6061 T6 aluminum alloy.

Four-screw mounting one each side the cleats make it very easy for service, maintenance and changing of the track cleats for our swamp buggy/amphibious excavator.

>> Reinforced Heavy Duty Track Chain and Roller

Heavy duty marsh buggy track chains are constructed with high strength tensile steel, thickness at least 10mm, each pontoon comes with two or three heavy duty track chains, track cleats are fixed on the chain pitch with 4 screws each.
The hardened track chain rollers run in pontoon channels with a strip of wear resistant steel. The drive and idler sprockets are flame hardened to match the hardness of the track chain rollers.

The power for the pontoons are provided by the upper excavator main pumps, final drive traveling motors and the hydraulic hoses are well protected and sealed in each inner side of the pontoons of marsh buggies. Sinoway marsh buggy are now with world-class hydraulics, Kawasaki main pump, valves and motor ensure the long operating life of the whole marsh excavator.

Doosan traveling motor are the mostly used in Sinoway swamp excavator, every single motor is tuned and commissioned to the best performance and matching to the hydraulic flow of the upper excavator.

Isuzu or Cummins engine with high power rate is along with our standard marsh buggy excavator, it's enjoying many advantages.
High power rate; Maximum 133Kw or 170HP power which is the highest of the swamp buggy excavator of the same level. And the consumption is very low at less than 237g/kw.h
Fuel adaptivity; The engine of Sinoway marsh buggy takes poor fuel which is a big advantage of American engines, this make our swamp buggy works perfect even in African countries of which diesel are with poor quality.
